Natural Mystic

Many people see a mystical quality in the natural world, emphasizing the interconnectedness of all living things.

Like our collection Caria, it’s organic parts bear the memory of one of oldest family of trees on our planet.

Their natural habitat in historic times is confined to the Norfolk Islands. There in 1774, Captain Cook was the first Euopean to spot these trees.

For our collection Caria, Norfolk Pine waste wood is used from the island of .Mallorca.

Oaks like it sunny and warm. In view of rising temperatures, the oak tree is also a symbol of optimism for the future of woods adapted to the wet and cold. Warmth and optimism is also borne by the specimen of a our collection Petrea.

The fruits used for the Petrea earings and pendents are collected in the largest contiguous mixed oak forest in Austria, located in the Weinviertel region. Compared to other regions of Austria, the climate there is (already) rather mild.
